According to Mark Wahlberg, Entourage was initially created when his assistant asked if he could film Wahlberg and his buddys, calling them “hilarious”. Other reports credit Eric Weinstein, a long-time comrade of Wahlberg’s, with the idea of following the successful actor’s group of buddy’s. In order to be more satirical of the Hollywood lifestyle, a fictional approach was decided upon rather than a straight documentary.
Vincent Chase, the show’s main character, was envisioned to be more similar to Wahlberg, but it was decided upon that some of his and his friends’ activities particularly some paticulars of their criminal past would not work well on television. A better approach was subsequently decided upon.
However, according to Donnie Carroll, who was the inspiration for the Turtle character, the idea for a show involving an actor and his comrades had come from him. It had originated as a book brain fart, centered on Carroll’s own life and his experiences with Wahlberg, titled From the ‘Hood to Hollywood, A Soldier’s Story.

Mainstream Christians are always telling people that Jesus is going to take them in the Rapture. While Evangelical Christians are on the lookout for Jesus, they sit idly by. Why is do they do that? I don’t know. Anyway, there’s a interesting post on the topic on this Blog.The Rapture is a concept in Christianity relating to the return of Jesus. The primary passage describing the rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, in which Paul cites “the word of the Lord” about the return of Jesus to gather his saints. Although all Christian denominations believe in Christ’s return, there are two primary views regarding its nature:
1. Dispensationalist Premillennialists such as many Evangelicals, especially in the United States hold the return of Christ to be in two stages. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 is seen to be a preliminary event to the return described in Matthew 24:29-31. Although both describe a return of Jesus in the clouds with angelic activity, trumpets, heavenly signs, and a gathering of the saints, these are seen to be two separate events, the first unseen, and the second public. The majority of dispensationalists hold that the first event immediately precedes the period of Tribulation. See chart for additional Dispensationalist timing views
2. Amillennialists such as Roman Catholics, and others, Postmillennialists such as some Presbyterians, and others, and Historic Premillennialists such as Calvinistic Baptists, and others hold that the return of Christ will be a single, public event. All passages regarding the return of Christ, such as Matthew 24:29-31, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3, Revelation 1:7, etc, describe the return of Jesus in the clouds amidst trumpets, angelic activity, heavenly signs, a resurrection, and a gathering of saints. Although some such as some Amillennialists take this event to be figurative, rather than literal, these three groups maintain that passages regarding the return of Christ describe a single event, and that the “word of the Lord” cited by Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 is the Olivet Discourse which Matthew separately describes in Matthew 24:29-31. Although the doctrinal relationship of the rapture and the Second Coming are the same in these three groups, Historic Premillennialists are more likely to use the term “rapture” to clarify their position in distinction from Dispensationalists.

Today was a quite an interesting day for me actually. I woke up as i always do, 8AM, feeling hungover and really pissed off, for no general reason of which i know. So as always i started to explore the web, focusing of what i would write on my blog yes, i like to think sometimes lol and just began to wonder what this day is going to show me today. I checked out the news site, and found an article about fake whiplash injuries. I honestly did not know what it meant, so I obviously googled it and discovered a site – i researched what it was, and quite frankly also found an article about fake claims. Did you have any clue that you can get a couple of hundred thousand dollars as settlement? For some lousy “Injury” which to be honest, cannot be properly diagnosed? Anyways, just wanted to let you know out there, that if youre thinking on driving, think about those people who specially try to bump into you creating a possibility for a whiplash settlement.
